The staff here at TruckerNews work long and hard to bring you the best in 18-wheeled investigative journalism, so it’s with no small amount of pride that we are thrilled to announce that we have been named this year’s winner of the Pullet-Serve Prize. It was a long time coming and worth, um, crowing about.
Not every media giant’s annual Fried Chicken Cookout can win the top award, of course. But when we managed to get out 2,800 servings of barbecued wings in under 2 hours, we knew we were at least in the running. Truckers’ Times, Highway Herald, and the Transmission Daily put up a good fight, though. In the end, we believe our combination of professionalism and proprietary 200-horsepower Poultry Catapult© made the difference.
