We’ve all heard of taking shortcuts, but one Smift driver recently took things to the extreme – and it paid off big time!
“I was hauling a load of ice cream through the desert, and I knew I had to get it to the store before it melted,” says Carl, a veteran Smift driver. “So I decided to take a shortcut – through the sand dunes!”
Carl says he was nervous at first, but his years of off-roading experience came in handy. “I was weaving in and out of the dunes like a pro,” he says. “The truck was bouncing around like crazy, but I just kept my foot on the gas.”
Despite some hairy moments – like when he nearly tipped the truck over on a steep dune – Carl made it to the store on time and with his cargo intact. “The customers were thrilled to get their ice cream before it turned into soup,” he says. “And my boss was pretty happy too!”
