In a groundbreaking move for the trucking industry, a new podcast has been launched specifically for truckers, featuring non-stop revving noises! The podcast, titled “Revving Radio,” is the brainchild of a trucker and self-proclaimed revving enthusiast, Mike Johnson.
According to Johnson, he was inspired to create the podcast after realizing that many truckers find the sound of a revving engine soothing and even meditative. “It’s like music to our ears,” Johnson said in a recent interview. “So why not create a podcast that’s just pure revving all the time?”
The podcast features a variety of different engine sounds, from the low rumble of a diesel engine to the high-pitched whine of a turbocharger. Each episode is several hours long and is designed to be played continuously throughout a trucker’s journey.
Despite some initial skepticism from the trucking community, Revving Radio has quickly gained a cult following among truckers. “I used to listen to music or talk radio while I was driving,” said long-time trucker Bill Jones. “But now that I’ve discovered Revving Radio, I can’t go back. It’s just so relaxing.”
However, not everyone is a fan of the podcast. Some have criticized it for contributing to noise pollution and distracting drivers from the road. In response, Johnson has announced that he will be launching a new podcast titled “Silent Radio” which will feature nothing but complete silence.
“I don’t want to be accused of causing any accidents or anything like that,” Johnson said. “So, for those who prefer silence, we’ve got you covered too.”
So if you’re a trucker looking for some soothing engine sounds to help pass the time on the road, be sure to check out Revving Radio. And for those who prefer peace and quiet, keep an ear out for Silent Radio, coming soon to a podcast app near you!
