In a surprising turn of events, a heavy hauler has announced that it no longer identifies as a heavy hauler and wants to become a reefer instead. The reason? The truck claims it can no longer handle the hot Florida summers and needs to chill out.
“I’ve been hauling heavy loads for years and can’t take it anymore. The heat and humidity are too much for me to bear. I need to cool down, man. That’s why I’m declaring myself a reefer.”
The truck explained that it had always been jealous of the reefers driving around with their temperature-controlled cargo. “They get to chill out all day, literally. But, meanwhile, I’m sweating my engine off carrying all this heavy stuff. It’s just not fair.”
When asked how it planned to transition to a reefer, the truck replied, “Oh, I’ve already started. I have a new paint job, some fancy decals, and a new cooling system. I’m ready to be the coolest heavy-hauler-turned-reefer on the road.”
