The miracle of life has been experienced again by a happy couple, 18 Wheeler and a Unicycle, who has given birth to three identical tricycles just this afternoon.
The 18-wheeler was frantically driving his wife to the hospital but could not make it there in time, so she gave birth at a rest stop on the Garden State Parkway. The Bon Jovi rest stop in New Jersey, where they delivered the trike triplets, was coincidentally halfway there to the hospital.
“It’s not uncommon for wheeled vehicles to have a natural birth on the road,” said one local auto body shop spokesperson. Tricycles are able to pedal immediately after being born to survive the harsh environment of the road, but it takes a few weeks to get up to full speed. Upon delivery, the proud semi-truck did the honors of cutting the umbilical cord, spilling brake fluid all over the road. The triplets bear remarkable resemblances to both parents. They have his axles but her treads. The parents are hoping the kids will put their best wheels forward. They should be discharged from the rest stop later today and return to their parking lot. The triplets join the couple’s happy family of a tandem bicycle, a penny farthing, a minibus, and a motorcycle sidecar.
