Another Truckload of Dow Jones Was Lost Today

Wall Street has been a particularly bumpy ride the last couple of weeks and today was no exception. This morning, a truck carrying a full load of premium quality Dow Jones toppled over the side. How far down it went is not currently known, and authorities predict it may take until 2025 to find it.

“This can’t keep happening,” said one very wealthy person at the scene. “If these trucks aren’t getting through, I will lose my second beach house.”

The incident caused chaos as this is not the first truck to plummet in recent days, and many fear it will not be the last.

“What we want is an uphill ride. Up up up all the way, baby,” one man in a $12,000 suit told us at a nearby trading post. “We gotta get that Dow from here to up here,” he elaborated, raising his hand so far above his head that his suit was nearly ripped. “The drop-offs, they’re just not right. 2025 is a long way off. We need better drivers in here. That’s gotta be it. The solution is better drivers.”

The drivers’ union issued a statement on the matter that reads: “It’s not our fault. Wall Street has not been properly maintained. It hasn’t been paved in years, and it is full of holes. We can’t be expected to keep this up.”

Authorities assured everyone involved that they would find the missing load as quickly as they could using inflation – a process by which balloons are used to recover such things. Any updates will be reported immediately.
