Details of the proposed Gas Tax Holiday are going public, and it looks like the event will be quite the national bash if the complex logistics can be worked out.
First off will be a parade down Pennsylvania Avenue, if enough manpower can be found to push the floats, as gasoline is still too expensive. Then an enormous fireworks display will light up the sky over the Potomac River. This will depend on how quickly the mule teams pulling the covered wagons can get the gunpowder to Washington since the U.S. Treasury can’t afford to buy diesel fuel.
Patriotic speeches should be no problem, as politicians produce their own gas.
