The latest in a string of weird trucking incidents occurred outside Oddity, Ohio, yesterday when the long-haul driver and former super-bantamweight fighter Chi Chi Tschikin lost control of his vehicle while listening to Bach’s music and clipped a puppy truck from the Oddity Humane Society. No one was seriously injured, though some police officers responding to the crash were overcome by cuteness.
The cops arrived to find Tschikin’s load of broken-down cardboard boxes being adorably devoured by several dozen twelve-week-old boxer puppies. All of the snub-nosed little doggies had piled out of the back of the panel truck when the latch gave way on impact. It took the better part of two hours to wrangle the pooches and get them back in their cages. Most of that time was taken up by squeals of ‘Who’s a good boy?’ and giggles as faces were slurped.
Tschikin was cited for distracted driving, and the puppies were cited for aggravated adorableness.
