Irish drivers at a Dublin warehouse were astounded yesterday when a two-foot-tall leprechaun leaped into a truck cab and drove off with 10,000 boxes of Lucky Charms cereal.
Standing on the seat to steer, the magical creature was assisted in his bold crime by a pair of saucy gnomes who worked the pedals on his commands. Trucks nearby heard him singing “Danny Boy” on their CB radios and declaring that he was “going to find that Molly Malone and show her his shillelagh.”
The little fellow was finally apprehended by authorities when he pulled into the Pot o’ Gold truck stop in a case of mistaken identity.
