Los Angeles mayor Juan Derwhy was visibly outraged at his post-Emmy Awards press conference this week as he described the sorry state of the streets of the City of Angels after a convoy of nearly 80 heavy trucks carried off the latest haul of bling for Ted Lasso.
‘It’s getting ridiculous,’ he complained as he gazed upon the apocalypse that was Santa Monica Boulevard. ‘I mean, no show is that good.’
