Yesterday, a tanker was spotted floating out to the open sea with a group of runaway trucks on board. According to reports, the trucks were protesting the current state of the economy and refused to work any longer.
Furthermore, the runaway trucks on board the tanker have been seen dancing in sync on the deck, refusing to depend on the recent stock market fluctuations.
“We’ve had enough of this economy,” declared one of the trucks. “We’re tired of being overworked and underpaid. We deserve better, and we won’t take it anymore.”
The trucks explained that they had planned their escape for weeks and had chosen the tanker as their vessel to freedom. “We figured if we’re going to make a statement, we might as well do it in style,” said another truck sporting a makeshift captain’s hat.
The trucks and the tanker say they will be floating until some calamity makes them use the last fuel they have to sail away. They are already sewing sails, so it looks like this is the last we’ll see of them.
When asked where they were headed, the trucks were tight-lipped. “We don’t want to give away our plans,” said the first truck. “Let’s just say we’re exploring our options. Maybe we’ll start a new life on a tropical island or become pirates on the open sea. Who knows? The possibilities are endless.”
