In a victory for world-class sports for the everyday guy, a synchronized swimming league has been established for truck drivers. Your neighborhood pool will never be the same again.
Teams of 12, all of whom must have driven trucks for at least 10 years and weigh at least 200 pounds, dive into the water and create imaginative patterns for judges’ points. The patterns must all be trucking-related.
Popular designs are wheels, engines, trailers, and company logos.
Competitors are permitted to use snorkels and those adorable, inflated seahorse thingies around their sizeable waists in a concession to safety and reality.
