In a move that has caused quite a stir in the trucking industry, several major trucking companies have been forced to install lavatories in their trucks to accommodate the personal needs of their drivers. The decision came after several drivers went on strike, demanding “personal time” to use the restroom while on the job.
“We understand that our drivers have needs, and we want to do everything we can to make sure they’re comfortable while on the road,” said a spokesperson for one of the trucking companies.
However, not everyone is happy about the new development. “This is just ridiculous,” said one trucker. “I don’t want to use the restroom in the same cab as where I sleep. It’s unsanitary and undignified.”
