Saying that they believe absolutely in a fair day’s wage for a day’s work, all the women truck drivers in America have pledged to only deliver their loads 79% of the way to the destination.
Speaking for the Ladies American Trucking Establishment (LATE), Virginia Passive-Aggression said, ‘The average man makes a good 20% more than the average woman, so to make things fair, we all decided that this would be how much we’re going to work. We’re dropping the trailer and catching an Uber home at that percentage of the route. Since men must be smarter than us if they’re getting paid more, they should have no trouble figuring out what to do after that.’
She went on to say, ‘And we’re also only going to let our husbands eat as much of dinner as they help cook.’
