In a humorous twist that brings the realities of parenting to light, the National Association of Freight & Logistics (NAFL) has declared single moms as the “Best Logistics Managers” for National Logistics Day on June 28, 2023.
During a tongue-in-cheek press conference, the NAFL spokesperson stated, “Who better to honor than single moms, who manage packed schedules, last-minute changes, multiple drop-offs, and pickups, all while balancing work and home life?”
The announcement, which was met with uproarious laughter and hearty applause, was aimed to acknowledge the unsung heroes of everyday logistics, who manage the daily ‘freight and flow’ of family life.
As part of the celebrations, NAFL will distribute ‘Honorary Logistics Manager’ badges to single moms nationwide, with a humorous tagline, “For expertly managing the most important cargo: our future generation.”
