The enormous rabbit is set to arrive in Times Square on Easter Sunday, setting not just one but two world records.
“Not only will this be the largest chocolate bunny ever constructed, being made up of over 8,000 bars of chocolate, but it will also be the largest solid piece of chocolate ever transported by truck,” confirms a Guinness World Records representative.
It doesn’t seem possible that an 11-foot by 15-foot bunny made of pure milk chocolate would be able to withstand transportation. Thanks to refrigerated trucking, it is.
“I’ll be wearing my bunny ears and a huge grin,” comments Don Lawson, the driver in charge of delivering the record-setting cargo, “this is certainly unlike anything I’ve ever hauled before.”
