Move over, Grave Digger. You’ve finally met your match. Grave-digging is just where things start on the new monster truck circuit in Transylvania. After that, it’s zombies in big-wheel hearses, Bigfoot driven by an actual bigfoot, and Swamp Thing rises out of the mud bog for real.
Promoter Vlad D. Impala says the idea came from a typical Transylvanian weekend. ‘On most Saturday nights here, we drink until we reach the right level of dangerously-stupid courage, then we grab our pitchforks and torches from the garage and head to the mad doctor’s castle. It’s a steep climb up there, so I usually take my truck. One day it hit me that people would pay good money to watch this, and here we are.’
So far, things have gone smoothly, if you don’t count the unfortunate incident where the event was scheduled during a full moon.
