The ferocious, horrific, and nearly indestructible demogorgon monsters in the hit TV series Stranger Things have been terrifying viewers for years. The studio behind the show has just revealed that the cast and crew were no less scared. Not only are demogorgons absolutely real and not any kind of special effect, but they are commercial truck drivers who just couldn’t take one more indignity.
One-eyed demogorgon wrangler Todd Dethwish told reporters with a wave of his prosthetic arm, “Yeah, they were a handful, at first. Kept throwing the craft services truck around while complaining about wait times at warehouses. Ate a couple of transportation managers. But once we figured out their origin and adjusted our approach, they’ve been okay.”
When asked what the new approach was, he said, “Hot showers and bathroom breaks whenever they wanted was the big one.”
