Harry Potter Car Now an 18-wheeler

Readers of the Harry Potter books will be surprised to see a change in the new revised edition: Ron Weasley’s magical flying sky-blue 1962 Ford Anglia has been changed to a canary-yellow 1962 Ford Thames Trader cabover, with an enchanted livestock trailer for fantastic beasts.

The author explained, “I always thought that the Anglia was adorable and made for a funny sight gag, but was impractical in the wizarding universe. Have you seen the boot on that car? I couldn’t fit two wands and a Horcrux in that dinky little hole. Now, with the splendid trailer, the Ford lorry can haul 8-legged acromantulas, Hungarian horntails, and even a brace of moonspoors.”

Other industry-related revisions include replacing the broomsticks used in quidditch with Peterbilt 350s and placing a sticker on Hagrid’s back saying, “I’d rather be trucking.”
