In a first for mobile mental health treatment, the Good Humor corporation announced that it will convert 25% of its ice cream trucks to soundproofed “I-scream” trucks, where patrons overwhelmed by world events can let their emotions have full reign in order to vent the rage.
“Our brand has always been about happiness,” said company spokesperson Mel. N. Colly. “Whether devouring a yummy ice cream bar or raising a fist in impotent wrath at a cold, uncaring universe, we’re here to help.”
The trucks will be stationed near gas stations, Capitol Hill, and Wall Street. Suspensions have been significantly strengthened to handle the jumping up and down and banging heads against the floor.
