A bizarre episode occurred on a Kentucky highway when a lowboy truck stopped for a safety violation and turned out to be hauling 1969 Ford F-250 4 x 4 “Highboys,” each of which had a bed full of highboy dressers bound for a furniture auction.
“There was an issue with how the Highboys were secured,” said patrolman I. Gottah Noclew. “So I had to stop the truck and address the issue before something happened. That’s when I noticed that it was highboys on Highboys. Kind of strange, but, hey, whatever pays the bills.”
Driver Raymond Falsetto fixed the issue and was eager to get back on the road. He said he’d been taken advantage of on his new house purchase and planned to stop at a bar and have a highball because of the lowball.
