New Electric Truck Glitch: Driver Must Pedal the Recharger on the Move

In a disaster for on-time truck delivery but a positive boon for cardiovascular fitness, the Whizzo Electric Automobile Company announced today that they had discovered a hidden glitch in the design of their new electric 18-wheeler that requires the driver to pedal the recharger unit the entire time the vehicle is in motion.

“Yeah, it’s a bummer,” admitted CEO Buzz Baikchayne, “but these things happen in R & D. Obviously, we should have had a little more R before the D. But on the bright side, we’ve solved the truck driver obesity problem.”

In another troubling revelation for Whizzo, he confessed that the charger is sold separately.
