Long-haul driver, Jasper Higgins of Little Rock found himself $186,000 to the good when his broken GPS system diverted him onto the Churchill Downs racetrack in Louisville.
“When the nice lady’s voice said to hang that left at Hog’s Wallow Junction, it seemed dodgy to me,” said Higgins, “but I figured the result of billions of dollars in technology knew its business. That’s how I ended up beating Cloudy Whisper by a nose.”
Asked what he would do with his newfound fortune, he just sighed and muttered, “I guess I’ll just stay in the trucking business till it’s gone.”
