3-star Michelin French Restaurant in Big Rig Trailer

World-renowned Parisian chef Armand S’ il Vous Plaît has had many firsts in his storied career: serving frozen eel on a stick to the Pope, creating a full-scale dark chocolate ganache whale, opening a 3-star Michelin restaurant in Homer, Alaska. But his latest coup may be his most audacious. Armand is serving truck-stop food out of a semi-truck.

“Do not ze truckairs deserve ze very best?” the famed kitchen maestro said. “Why settle for chicken-fried steak ordinaire when you can have eet on a bed of raw sea slugs with a garniche of freshly-picked dragonfruit? And ze humble meatloaf can only benefit from an infusion of liquid nitrogen and salamander blood. Mmm! C’est formidable!”

The most popular dish has proved to be chien a la chaud (hot dog), a foot-long aromatic sausage of hedgehog, crab, and lavender, smothered in Hollandaise sauce and set aflame with Napoleon brandy and lighter fluid.
