Truck drivers can now catch up on the latest blockbusters while on the road, thanks to the advent of in-cab entertainment systems. Drivers can now enjoy all the latest releases from Hollywood while waiting for traffic or taking a break from driving.
“I never thought I’d be able to watch movies while on the road,” said one trucker. “Now, I never have to miss a single hit movie, even when I’m driving cross-country.”
However, there are some downsides to this new technology. Drivers report that they can’t seem to turn the in-cab entertainment systems off, leading to long hours of staring at the screen and being completely absorbed in the movie.
“I started watching a movie, and before I knew it, I had driven 100 miles,” said one truck driver. “I need to find a way to disconnect from these movies and get back on the road.”
