Heat Wave Causes Mirage of Polar Bears Hitching Rides on Trucks: Drivers Advise Sunglasses and Hydration

As the summer heatwave rolls across the nation, truckers are reportedly having a good laugh. Several drivers traveling through the scorching Southwest have started a humorous rumor: they’re spotting mirages of polar bears attempting to hitch rides on their rigs to escape the heat.

The whimsical tale, originating from a group of jesting truckers, has snowballed across CB radios and social media, with hashtags like #PolarBearHitchhikers and #HeatwaveHijinks trending.

“I swear, I saw a bear, as white as snow, thumb out, sipping on a Slurpee, waiting for a ride!” chuckled Big Rig Rick, one of the joking drivers. His tall tale has since caught on, with other truckers playfully reporting their own ‘sightings’ of the frosty hitchhikers.

Despite the jesting nature of the reports, they serve as a timely reminder for drivers to stay hydrated and take care of their health during the heatwave. “Remember, if you’re starting to see polar bears in Arizona, it might be time to take a break and cool down,” Rick playfully advised his fellow truckers.

So as the heatwave continues, drivers are urged to keep their sunglasses handy, drink plenty of water, and keep an eye out for any polar bear hitchhikers on the road!
