Heavy-metal bands truck treated for hearing loss sues for medical expenses

A 1996 Kenworth W900b filed suit in a Kansas court yesterday against the heavy metal band that uses it to recover the funds it claims it was forced to spend to treat its massive hearing loss.

The truck’s attorney said that over a quarter-century of exposure to high-decibel sonic destruction had led to irreversible hearing damage and that the 279-lb. cast iron hearing aids the ailing semi requires were prohibitively expensive.

Through a sign language interpreter, the band Lucifer’s Itchy Minions denied their music could damage eardrums.
