Used Trucks Market Was So Hot It May Contributed To Global Warming

It was harder than ever to buy a truck in the last two years. Not only is it almost impossible to find a new truck at the dealership, but used vehicles are also scarce. And a deal? No way. In fact, the used truck market was so hot that scientists claim it contributed to global warming.

“We’ve never seen anything like this,” Princeton climate researcher Burt Fog told reporters. “When 2012 Volvos started going for over sixty grand last Christmas, the average temperature in the region actually shot up a point. It doesn’t sound like much, but that’s just one make and model. Don’t get me started on used Freightliner trucks.”

While the science is still new, many argue there may well be a possible correlation between the absolutely unheard-of heat of this used vehicle market and the actual temperature of the earth.

“It makes sense,” Professor Fog elaborated. “When you look at just how fast these trucks are getting bought up, and at such insane prices- it was the hottest market in my lifetime, for sure. That’s gotta have a broad effect.”

Only time will tell just what degree of impact the used truck market will have on our planet’s weather, but one thing is absolutely certain: if you want a used truck at a reasonable price, it won’t be happening any time soon.
